Geochecker and Multichecker

A Geochecker is a tool for geocachers to verify coordinates. If you solve a mystery or multi cache and are unsure whether your calculated coordinates are correct, you can have them checked here in advance.

The classic Geochecker supports the WGS84 format and also allows a tolerance check if the coordinates do not have to match exactly.

The Multichecker is an advanced version of the classic Geochecker. Instead of just checking coordinates, you can define any number of question-answer pairs here.

There are 5 different check types available:

• Correct or Wrong: Only shows whether everything is correct or not
• X of Y wrong: Shows how many answers are wrong
• Exact indication: Shows for each answer whether it is correct or wrong

After creating a checker, you will receive an HTML code that you can copy directly into your geocaching listing.

The code contains an image that shows the number of correct and wrong attempts. When clicking on the image, the user is redirected to the checker page.

Tip: The image updates automatically and always shows the current status of attempts.

You can create and use as many Geocheckers and Multicheckers as you want. There are no hidden costs, no premium features and no advertising.

The project is run out of passion for the geocaching community and is supported by voluntary donations.

We only store the minimum necessary data:

• Checker logs: The entered answers are stored for 30 days so you as an owner can see what was entered
• Account data: Email address and username for your account

We do not sell data to third parties and do not use tracking tools. Details can be found in our privacy policy.
